Arugula is peppery, bitter green originally native to the Mediterranean. Delicious fresh or cooked.
Keep arugula in a plastic bag or covered plastic/glass container in the refrigerator. We wash and dry all of our greens, so they're ready to enjoy.
Arugula pairs especially well with other bold flavors. Great pairings include anchovies, strong cheeses, toasted nuts, capers, lemon, and garlic.
We love arugula in salads (especially with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, & ribbons of parmesan), added on top of pizza or burgers, and made into pesto.
