Bright and fragrant, cilantro is a must-have for cooking around the world, especially in Mexican and Southeast Asian dishes.
Keep greens in a plastic bag or covered plastic/glass container in the refrigerator.
The stems of the cilantro plant are edible along with the leaves (as long as the plant is fresh and tender). So go ahead and skip the tedious leaf tearing by mincing it all together with a sharp, dry knife. When cooking dishes that feature cilantro, be sure to serve a bowl of the freshly chopped herb on the table for topping.
